Finally!

I am excited to report we are finally staying in the house. Last night we did the final walk-through and received the last of the keys and garage door openers. After a run back to our apartment to pick up some clothes, food and the cats, we slept here last night. The place is so big and beautiful, it's hard to believe it's ours! 

Today I've been cleaning (although our sellers left the place in great condition) and picking out paint colors. Tonight we'll go buy paint and I'll start on that tomorrow. I can't wait to post some before and after pics! 

Kalia loves the new house, she's already done a million laps up and down the stairs and through the dining and living rooms. I found one of her little balls in the stuff be brought over, so she's been enjoying the space too. She's watching out the window of the master bedroom right now (there are workers across the street). I think she'll like it here. She looks really beautiful in here too- the carpet is the same color as her eyes. 

Rev is having a little harder time adjusting, so right now we have him set up in the laundry room with a bed, his food a litter box. Hopefully he'll relax soon and be comfortable here. I think he'll like it better when there's furniture to hide under. 

I better get back to work. We are so thankful for this house. What a blessing!
