Goodbye, Grandpa

After struggling with severely failing health and congestive heart failure, my grandpa, James Paeth (dad's dad) died in mid-November. The memorial was not held until after Thanksgiving, and it was a great blessing that since I was in Alaska I was able to travel with my family to attend. It was a sweet time of memories and spending time with family, especially my grandma.

Jason and Addison on the Puget Sound. Grandma lives on a bluff right above.
Jamie drove over from Montana. It was so great to see each other!
Mom, me and Jamie, in Grandma's backyard with Seattle and Mt. Rainier in the background.
In our 3-bedroom apartment/hotel- Addy works on walking.
Grandma Paeth with 3 grandkids. She is a beautiful and wonderful lady. I hope she comes to DC soon!
The "kids" minus Joel and Kaitlynn.
The altar at the memorial: Grandpa's picture, ashes and Bible. It was a really neat service of remembering all the things he accomplished: a zillion building projects, accomplished aerospace test engineer, and all around great guy with a huge sense of humor! You will be missed, Grandpa.
