Niagara Falls

I know it's been forever, but here are the Niagara Falls pictures! Looking at these pictures, I can hear the roar. It was a really amazing trip- the falls are definitely bigger than I imagined.

In the morning, the mist made rainbows.
Our first "tourist outing" was the Maid of the Mist boat ride. You get really close to the falls, it was amazing! And the fashionable blue poncho was ours to keep!
The mist sprayed on the lens, and all over us! This is the American Falls.
Here we are sporting our lovely ponchos, in front of the Horseshoe Falls. If any of you saw "The Office" where Jim and Pam got married, it was the same boat ride. :)
Looking back at the American Falls, this was the boat behind us.
Afterwards, we went up the Observation Tower (in the background of the previous picture) and I painted while Joel got some photos.
Here is one of the photos Joel took from the tower, and the destination of our second outing, the Cave of the Winds.
Here we are in lovely yellow ponchos provided for you to wear at the Cave of the Winds.
We got really close to the water. It was incredibly powerful. And wet.
Getting splashed by Niagara!
We even got awesome sandals to wear. After you toured the deck, you could donate them to people in Africa.
Next post: Lake Eaton Camping!
