Update

I know it's been a while since my last post. A lot has happened! We got the heater fixed which was HUGE. We have also been working overtime on the house to get it finished, and I am happy to report that just a few last little projects and we'll be all settled! It turned out beautifully and I really need to get some pictures up. My dad, Joel's brother and my mom will all have visited within the space of one month. It's wonderfully to have the extra room to host guests.

Also... very big news... I got a job! Praise God! I am a designer with a residential design/build firm called Meridian Landscapes. It's very similar to the job I had in Texas, where I would go meet with clients at their home, discuss what they want in their yard, then do the measurements, draw a plan, tweak the plan based on meeting with them, price it out and oversee installation. I'm really liking it, especially since I get to work from home! It's taken a couple of weeks to adjust to that, but now that I have a good schedule down, I really enjoy it. It's also nice to have the flexibility to go run or do an errand in the middle of the day.
