1. Inspection.
2. Assessment. Since this place is remodeled and a regular sale (vs. all the short sales and foreclosures happening right now), the price is a little bit higher than the other places that have sold recently (which is what the assessor looks at). Hence, we're a little concerned it will not appraise for as high as we're offering... which would put us back to the drawing board. The good side of that would be if our seller still decides to sell, we would get a lower price!
3. Financing. This is in process, but it's a little bit of a back and forth since we've both been out of town to get the papers to the lender. I think Joel's going to go sign on Wednesday and then they're going to overnight them to me to sign and send back.
