Not quite the same as the big Statue of Liberty, but you get the idea.
In Rockefeller Center. We had a lovely lunch of Root Beer floats from the ice cream man street vender.
On Saturday night we went to the Lion King. It was very cool- the costuming was incredible. 
Sunday afternoon (after the Statten Island Ferry, walking around Lower Manhatten- ie: Wall Street and Ground Zero) we walked up to Little Italy for lunch. The lunch was okay, but... 
We really liked the cannoli from the "Cannoli King" restaurant across the street!
These are a little out of order, but this is a cathedral in Lower Manhatten. Oh, and a tour bus that was posing in front.
Here is some detail of the stained glass. It's beautiful.
We also made a trek to the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge. I had never done this before and it was really cool. Some great photo ops that I had fun playing with. Here are some art shots:

This is somewhere in New York (well, I guess at 100 Broadway!) But I thought it turned out cool.
The following week we spent at home (too bad to have to go back to work for me), but the next weekend we went over to Fenwick Island State Park (in Delaware) for some beach time. Yes, that is a frisbee around my neck, thanks for asking. We had to play frisbee to keep warm, it was a bit on the chilly side. But nicer than Alaska with it's 15" of snow that they got while mom was here.
