The Thanksgiving trips have become a Hill family tradition the last few years. South Padre Island in 2005, New York City in 2006, and this year was no exception. We flew to Chicago to spend the long weekend with Joel's sister Leighanne and her husband, Jeff. We'd never been to Chicago before so it was fun to see the city. We walked around a lot (despite Joel's broken foot!) but also spent quite a bit of time hanging out in their apartment, playing board games and chilling with Dillon, their Great Dane. Other highlights included watching the Chicago
City Christmas tree being lit and checking out "The Bean"- this crazy funky reflective sculpture. Brilliant on someone's part.
