Nursery: Before and After

This Saturday we painted and set up the nursery! It was a whirlwind, but it's so fun to have it done. Of course, there aren't any little items in there yet (diapers, etc), but the infrastructure is ready for baby! There are more pics on the flickr site, as usual, but here is a sampling:

I didn't have the following 2 pictures from Joel's iphone for the last post, so I'll include them here. This was taken as we were shopping in Ikea. It was fun to finally feel pregnant! I had to get this kangaroo, we just related to each other too well. If you'll notice, I'm in the crib section. Eeek! :)
Joel got his workout this evening loading all of the boxes onto our cart. Luckily he had had a recharge cup of coffee just before this in the food court (and I had a second helping of mashed potatoes!)
Starting on the nursery. I'm sticking out my tummy here so you can see it!
This one doesn't need explanation, the wall says it all. We're excited!
The finished product. I love the soothing blue with all the white. And the colored chair and rug add a little punch. Next stop: shelves and artwork on the walls, baby accessories and clothes, then baby!
